Southbound on the Heritage Rail Trail – New Freedom

Southbound on the Heritage Rail Trail – New Freedom.

This image is at the one mile marker and provides for a beautiful view.

There is this bench in the view and a new bench about a quarter mile South.

The Singer Road Bridge appears a little further down the trail.

A horse farm appears on the East Side just shy of the 0 mile marker.

The trail descends to the Mason Dixon Line.

There are picnic tables and benches at the Mason Dixon Line.

A large bulletin board provides info on both the Maryland Torrey C Brown trail and

the Pennsylvania Heritage Rail Trail Park!

1.3 miles South of the Mason Dixon Line is the Freeland Parking Lot and a primitive restroom.

On this walk, we did not see any camels or alligators!
