The Little Falls at the 12.25 mile marker is a popular part of the trail. The traffic does drop off a bit in winter, but there are people who do still use the trail.
This is the Little Falls with snow. The image was take from the large rocks over the west side of the trail. There is a bend in the trail at the falls. One can view the falls from trail level.
It is worth the trip, during any season to see the Little Falls.
