Field Day Visit to the – Aero Amateur Radio Club 

On  Sunday June 24 2018 I went to the Essex Skypark to visit the field day activities.

Joe Miko WB3FMT graciously showed me around the clubs field day operations.

They had a Carolina windom,  20 meter beam, a G5RV, an hf vertical a VHF/UHF vertical and a 40 meter dipole in their operations.

They wanted to have an 80 meter dipole in operation but the added length would have put one antenna too close to powerlines.

A generator was being used to power their radio gear.
