Berryville Hamfest – Attended August 6, 2017
I attended the 2017 hamfest.
Working on putting up a dipole (higher in the trees).
Picked up a several porcelain insulators and some dacron rope.
I have the wire for the antenna elements.
Need some more ladder line, a couple pulleys and a little more planning.
Did not see a planning at the Hamfest!!!
Picked up a used Dell PC. It is an old business unit. May use with my TS-2000 HRD and ARCP-2000 etc.
Also picked up a Diamond HT antenna. Have an Opec for my VX-150 and it is shot! The Diamond is much better!
Picked up some alligator clip leads! My supply was low!
This year I did not cover the whole Hamfest. I did not take any Pictures!
When I got the computer, my hands were full so I took my loot back to the car. I just kept on going home.
Missed some of the commercial booths and some of the tailgaters over towards the exit road.
Great hamfest as usual!
