NCR Trail – Wildlife in Maryland – White Hall

Sometimes we never know we are being watched as we hike the NCR Trail.

While on a Northbound hike from White Hall to Parkton, Maryland, this deer was spotted observing hikers from the East side of the NCR Trail.

Along with deer it is not unusual to see snakes, fox, cats, owls, blue herons and even roosters along the trail.

Check out the streams along the Trail (Little Falls, Beetree Run, and Gunpowder Falls). Salamander, and fish, including trout can be observed at times.
