NCR Trail – Sycamore

NCR Trail – Sycamore Trees are popular along the trail.

While taking a break from a August 20, 2014 walk, I observed these leaves hanging over the benches at the 3.65 mile marker on the hill heading down to Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. This Sycamore is rather large. It has been here a long time! Some sort of bug has been working on the underside of the leaves!

On this day I made it a 3 mile walk. This is all hill from the Railroad, Pennsylvania Parking Lot at the 3 mile marker down to the 4.5 and back. This is my most frequent walking area although the walk may be a 3 4, 5 or even 7 mile walk depending on time and agenda!

If you travel the trail, stop and take a look around! Take in some of the scenery. It is well worth the time!

When I walk the trails, I wear New Balance Shoes. My feet are extra wide. New Balance have the extra width and are most comfortable for my needs.
