A Gymnastics Fitness course runs along the left (West) side of the trail between Dairy Road and Interstate 83. I frequent this part of the trail, especially in the Winter. It tends to get a good bit of sun and can be a bit warmer. When the trail ices over I’ll walk the left and right sides to keep from slipping.Parking is accomplished at Dairy Road and at Fredrick Road. To the North, I often park at the junctions of Walker, Stablers Church and Cameron Mill Roads. Little Falls runs along the East side of the trail.

In Maryland, the NCR Trail is also known as The Northern Central Railroad Trail and the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail.
