While walking downhill (Northbound) on the trail, this Northern Cardinal was observed on a railroad tie. This Cardinal was at about he 2.75 mile marker. This is south of Railroad, Pennsylvania.

While this image was taken in Spring of 2012, it is not unusual to see cardinals along the trail in the winter months.
