NCR Trail – Cardinal

NCR Trail – Cardinal

While walking downhill (Northbound) on the trail, this Northern Cardinal was observed on a railroad tie. This Cardinal was at about he 2.75 mile marker. This is south of Railroad, Pennsylvania.

While this image was taken in Spring of 2012, it is not unusual to see cardinals along the trail in the winter months.

This image was taken a year before the Steam Into History – York 17 started traveling the tracks.

Keep watching this site as we continue to post images of wild and not so wild life seen along the trail.

This image was taken with a Panasonic DMC-FZ150K 12.1 MP Digital Camera with CMOS Sensor and 24x Optical Zoom (Black)
