Mary Ann Furnace Trail – Springtime

Mary Ann Furnace Trail – Springtime

view along the Yellow Blazed trail.

Parking is available at the Black Rock Road lot #2. Walkers can also get to the trail from the campground at Codorus State Park.

The lower part of this trail allows for several views of Lake Marburg and includes a wildlife observation deck.

The upper part of the trail includes a few benches so the walker can take a break and enjoy the scenery.

There are some variations to the trail. For this walk we stuck to the Yellow Blazed sections.

GPS indicated 2.35 miles from start to finish.

For those who start from the Black Rock Road lot#2, there is a section of boardwalk to protect from the swampy area.
